It was the intent of the family to create a monument that conveyed strength and elegance. Aldine Bold Condensed font was selected to compliment the style and tone of the monument. The artwork on the front of the tablet is the official emblem of the Children's Hospital that Dr. Chard compassionately dedicated his career to. The artwork and verse on the side of the tablet, Latin Cross and Wheat are testaments of his lifelong commitment to his living faith community. Bold and stately, this MonuBench memorial, features a Gothic style top.
