The Volke family who lost their young son, Andrew, wanted to express their feeling of having suffered a great loss and though now separated by death, they remain not far apart. The two tablets, one for their son and a larger tablet for themselves expresses this feeling. A laser photographs of the son is displayed above his inscription on the rear of the monument. The front of the memorial displays an angel, rose spray and distinctive lettering all in bronze.
