Single or Companion Markers
A marker differs from a monument in that it is normally a one-piece memorial, and smaller in size than an upright monument. It may be made as a lawn-level marker, a pillow or bevel marker, a slant-faced marker, or a bench style marker. However, its size should not limit its personalization. The skills of the AICA designer will assure a well-designed tribute no matter what style of marker may be required."

This more contemporary style ledger, with its free-form shape features a simple sunflower carving, gives the memorial a “back to nature” feeling.

Cliff Larrance
An eagle, fir trees and Mr. Larrance’s amphibian airplane were done in a tri-tone sandblast process while the portrait was done by hand etching with carbide needles. These graphics are complemented by his favorite words of wisdom. A special border, which is interrupted by the eagle and the airplane, add a 3 dimensional perspective to the memorial.

Christopher John William Banach
Christopher was an avid sport bike rider. He and his father spent their spare time working on and riding motorcycles. Christopher’s joy was riding and his family wanted to remember his passion on his memorial.

Scotch, Carmine & Bennie
The son of Carmine and Bennie was a capable graphic artist and wanted to try designing his parent’s memorial. We provided the technical expertise, while he provided the theme and layout and in the end, the collaboration resulted in a beautiful memorial personalized by the Scotch’s children.

Ellison
The Ellison family requested two important elements to this design. First, to include the Mormon temple where the Ellison’s were married and the second using Val Ellison’s favorite saying, “Choose to live an extraordinary life”, his watch word to encourage those he worked with as a counselor for prison inmates to make something of their lives. The up-flowing bands represent Val’s approach to life – lift people up.

Ryan C. Broderick
The Broderick family was deeply involved in the creation of this memorial tribute for their son. The photograph and image of the dove was created by the boy’s father. A tribute verse, stylish font along with a scene from his home state complete this personalized memorial.

Roderick King
Roderick “Dr. Jockenstein” King was the premier Disk Jockey in St. Louis, MO who brought rap music to the city in the early 1980’s. He was known far and wide for his famous radio show “Roll Call”. The record motif and his portrait in the center have made his grave site a focal point for his many fans.
